A yard sale is when you lay out everything you own and start clipping things together to make an anchor.

Unclear on the concept of trail.
Why have one anchor on a two small tree when you can have two?
OK that's the trail, let's totally block it with our stuff. And yes, that was their anchor. Wait until you see the other one...
Another tiny tree and halfway up the trunk.

WTF?
O.K. I dunno, frictionless anchor, bowline and mysterious carabiner.
It's so bad it drew the attention of the world's worst instructor.

Clove Hitch Epidemic.
Look at all that nice assault line being wasted. A simple bowline could have avoided the cord and the carabiner. This tree is practically standing on air, so not an ideal anchor.
Anchors in the air. This is hard on the tree and can dump a climber on the ground when the tree flexes.
Another clove hitch on a very hollow tree.
It was a quiet day, but putting your hammock across the trail is always a dumb idea.
The worst way to sling that rock, putting the greatest force possible on it.

They just can't leave the dead tree alone.
Trees need roots, give them a break. They are using the rope bag to pad the edge, tough on the bag and leaves their rope in the dirt.
He had lots of rope to tie the rope to the tree. He knows the clove hitch is unstable, so he adds the tie off of the figure 8. The bowline is every bit as adjustable as a clove hitch.
He used the carabiner instead of a knot to secure anchors for two climbs, introducing the high probability oaf tria-axial loading the carabiner.
This was the only anchor, speechless.

Every time.
1. The tree is too small. 2. There was plenty of rope to just tie a knot. 3. The anchor added 4 possible points of failure. 4. The webbing is weaker than the rope, the system is degraded. 5. Is that gate locked?
