Some dogs shouldn't come to the crag.

A little hard to see, but three holes were dug right at The X, on the trail and where folks sit down to put their shoes on. Two were deep enough to cause real injury.

A little easier to see how deep this hole is. Easy to produce a nasty ankle sprain.

Missed it by THAT much.

The climbing rope is running over several edges, causing lots of drag, could even cut. He  ran the rope around a tree twice so maybe he had enough to avoid this.

We've seen more bowlines without stopper knots since the AMGA told people it was OK  to do that with a figure 8. The law of unintended consequences at work.

Lots of gear, not so smart.

Sling a tiny rock, slot some stoppers in rock that breaks.

Give the tree roots a break.

Each choice bad in its own way.

The mega strap and triangular carabiner are industrial, so may bey they are designed for tri-axial loading. The single bowline with no stopper knot, one foot of tail, and 90 plus degree angle are wrong in every way. Obviously, the anchor is way short, with the climbing rope running over edges. The twist at the carabiner will make it a bitch to belay.
