Is this what they mean by redundant?

I think they started with the runner, then asked themselves what to do with the tail

 An actual overhand loop, maybe someday they'll use it on something bigger than 6 inches.

Is this root dead yet?

This stuff doesn't stretch, right?

    It looks like PMI static line so it shouldn't. Can't tell if it the 10 or 11mm. At least the knots look right except that they aren't tightened. Too bad they didn't use the closer tree.
