Obviously this isn’t a model anchor, but shouldn’t every carabiner connection on any part of an anchor have double carabiners opposite and opposed? Or is that only required for where the climbing rope passes through? The top one here is just a single. Wondering because I’m very much still learning and see a lot of single carabiners on this site!

ReplyDeleteSingle carabiners are single points of failure, not ideal. At least this one is a locker and nowhere near the rock so it could be opened by contact.
